Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 12 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you and Maison Lune when you request a consultation, place a custom couture order, or use our website. Please read them carefully before booking or making a purchase.
1. Consultations and bookings
All appointments are by prior arrangement. Consultations can be held in person at our atelier or online, depending on availability. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments with reasonable notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
2. Custom orders and deposits
A custom dress order is confirmed only after a signed agreement is received and the agreed deposit is paid. The deposit is typically 50% of the quoted price and is non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun. Final payment is due before collection or shipment of the finished garment.
3. Pricing and quotations
Prices are quoted individually based on design complexity, fabric choice, embellishments, and construction time. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any changes requested after the order is confirmed may result in additional charges.
4. Fittings and alterations
Fittings are an essential part of the bespoke process. We include the agreed number of fittings in the quoted price. Additional alterations requested beyond the agreed scope, or alterations required due to changes in body measurements after the final fitting, may incur extra charges.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations made before materials are ordered are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Once materials are ordered or work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. Final payments are non-refundable once the garment is completed or shipped.
6. Delivery and shipping
Delivery timelines are estimated at the time of order confirmation and depend on the complexity of the design and fabric availability. We are not liable for delays caused by supplier shortages, courier issues, or force majeure events. Shipping costs and any applicable import duties are the responsibility of the client.
7. Intellectual property
All designs, sketches, patterns, and photographs created by Maison Lune remain our intellectual property. Custom garments are made for personal use only and may not be reproduced, commercially copied, or used for resale without our written permission.
8. Privacy and data
Your personal information, including measurements and contact details, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
Maison Lune is responsible for the quality of the garment as agreed upon in the order confirmation. We are not liable for issues arising from inaccurate measurements, changes in body shape after the final fitting, or third-party alterations made without our approval.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Orders placed before the changes take effect are governed by the terms in place at the time of the order.
