1. Who we are (data controller)

2. What data we collect through this website

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the content of your message. Nothing else is requested and no account is created. Name, email and message are required to reply to you — without them we cannot respond; the phone number is optional.
• Analytics (only if you accept): pages viewed, collection and design pages opened, whether an enquiry was completed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type. We do not send your name, email, phone number or message content to analytics.
• Technical: standard server and security data needed to deliver the site.

Any measurements, fitting notes or order details are collected later, directly with you by email, in the atelier or by video call — not through this website.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• Replying to your enquiry and discussing a possible commission — lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
• Sending you an automatic confirmation of your enquiry — same basis as above; it is a service message, not marketing.
• Website analytics — lawful basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Regulation 5(3) of S.I. No. 336/2011). Analytics never run unless you accept, and you can withdraw at any time.
• Keeping the site secure and available — legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing. No automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects is carried out.

4. Who receives your data

The following services are involved in running this website and handling enquiries. We describe what each one receives and does:

• Lovable — hosts this website, so it handles the requests your browser makes to the site and the enquiry you submit while it is being processed. It also produces cookieless visitor statistics for the site.
• Supabase — backend infrastructure used by the site platform to run the server-side parts of the website.
• The email service used by our site platform — receives the contents of your enquiry in order to deliver it to the atelier and to send you the confirmation email.
• Google (Google Analytics 4) — only if you accept analytics cookies. It receives the analytics data described in section 2; it does not receive your name, email address, phone number or message content.

We do not use your enquiry for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with anyone else. If you would like written detail on the contractual role or data-protection terms of any specific provider above, contact us and we will confirm what we can establish with that provider.

5. International transfers

Some of the services above are operated by companies based outside the European Economic Area, or may process or store data outside the EEA, including in the United States. We have not independently verified the specific transfer mechanism used by each provider, so we do not claim one here.

If you would like to know whether a particular provider's data is transferred outside the EEA and on what legal basis, contact us at atelier@maisonlune.ie and we will confirm the position with that provider and update this notice.

6. How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting commission, and afterwards only where we must keep records to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations. You can ask us at any time to delete an enquiry we still hold.

Google Analytics data: When you consent to analytics, Google Analytics 4 stores event and user data subject to a 14-month data-retention setting. The "Reset on new user activity" setting is enabled. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This stops future analytics collection from your browser and removes the Google Analytics cookies set by this website. Data already processed by Google remains subject to the applicable Google Analytics retention and deletion settings.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set any advertising or marketing trackers, and there is no Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or similar tag on this site. The site uses only the following:

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

• maison-lune-cookie-consent — first-party browser storage (localStorage), set by this website. Records only your cookie choice, the version of this notice, and the date. Stays until you clear it or change your choice.
• Anti-forgery token — first-party, may be set by the site platform when you submit the enquiry form, to protect the form from cross-site abuse. Session only.
• Lovable hosting statistics — first-party, cookieless page counts provided by our host. No cookies or identifiers are stored on your device.

Analytics (only with your consent)

• _ga — Google Analytics 4, first-party cookie, distinguishes visitors so we can count visits. Typically expires after 2 years.
• _ga_3Y970QX0NY — Google Analytics 4, first-party cookie, maintains session state. Typically expires after 2 years.
• Requests are made to googletagmanager.com and Google's collection endpoints (third-party) to load and send analytics data — only after you accept.

Google Analytics is configured without Google Signals and without advertising personalisation, and receives no name, email address, phone number or message content.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Privacy & cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing stops analytics immediately and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from this browser.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability where applicable. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

9. Security

Enquiries are transmitted to our site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and reach the atelier by email. Access to those emails is limited to Maison Lune.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
